This is the photo-spot where you would find the Britney/ Ex-Britney/Kevin crowd. Taking pictures at this cart is just like fishing at a fish farm. Sure you can get a lot of pictures of people eating monster freako "turkey" legs but where is the fun in that? The trick is to find someone on the opposite end of the part eating one. To be honest I have never seen a person eating a turkey leg more than 500 yards from this cart.

Next time you are in the park please call them out on the glaring mistake on this "menu". Assorted means you get several different kinds... right?
I have to say their description of a LARGE bag of chips is not correct either. I've seen larger. I'd call that a small bag... like the kind you get a Subway with your Turkey club..

Today was a very special day for TMB. For some odd reason people in the park wanted to play dress-up.

Here was a lovely Tweedle-something chatting on its phone. No doubt calling the other Tweedle to find out where to meet up for a quick bite.

Next up is a heard of Heffalumps storming the castle.

Finally I caught up with Auntie Uncle-Sam outside of Splash Mountain. A fine outfit indeed. This ensamble screams "IMANAMERICANDAMNIT!" No need to search her at the gate. There is no way she(?) could be a terrorist. I wanted to give her a free plane ticket to anywhere outside the U.S. but only if she traveled in that outfit. Have a camera crew follow her around. It could be a nice stop-gap show during the writers strike.

Disneyland insists fat tourists aren't to blame, but the park's upgrade of its 41-year-old attraction will include deepening the waterway and making its boats more buoyant.

The annoyingly catchy song at Disneyland's "It's a Small World" attraction reminds riders that "the oceans are wide."

Whether they're deep enough is another story.

Forty-one years after the whimsical ride debuted at the Anaheim park,Disneyland plans to shutter the attraction in January to give it a much-needed face-lift -- and deal with the delicate problem of bottoming-out boats.

Heavier-than-anticipated loads have been causing the boats to come to a standstill in two different spots, allowing for an extra-long gander at the Canadian Mounties and the Scandinavian geese, said Al Lutz, whose website MiceAge first reported the refurbishment plans.

"If these boats get stuck . . . they have to send someone back in there to lighten the load on the boat," said Lutz, who has been on the ride when a guest or two was asked to disembark.

"They've even built a platform next to that [Mounties] curve because they've had so many problems."

Disneyland plans to add an inch of depth to the water channel and design more-buoyant boats, Lutz said.

Perhaps in an effort to protect visitors' egos, the park insists that fat tourists aren't to blame.

The boats get stuck because "layers and layers" of fiberglass have built up where maintenance teams have patched and re-patched problem areas, said Disneyland Resort spokesman Bob Tucker.

"The only thing that's true is that we are going down in January and it's for 10 months and it's to replace the flumes," Tucker said.

But Disneyland is well aware of America's expanding waistlines.

In recent years, the park has redesigned many of its costumes and started stocking them in larger sizes to accommodate ever-expanding waistlines. Adult men and women are about 25 pounds heavier than they were in 1960, and 65% are considered overweight, according to the National Center for Health Statistics. The average weight for men jumped from 166 pounds in 1960 to 191 pounds in 2002; women average 164 pounds instead of 140.

Of course, this is a world of fantasy and the perfect place to forget about that diet for a few hours. So when somebody gets booted from the boat, Lutz said, Disneyland ride operators make sure the guests don't leave disappointed: They hand them a food ticket.

Cast members are concerned about rumors that Disney is planning on outsourcing the security department. Some claim that the short contract is just to buy time for Disney to contract with some other company to take over. While existing contracts prevent a total outsourcing of the department, Disney is allowed to outsource up to 10 percent of the staff to outside companies, and can expand beyond that in certain circumstances. Layoffs or staff reductions as a result of outsourcing are explicitly prohibited. Any changes to that policy would require a modification to the contract. When asked about Disney's claims that there are no current outsourcing plans, one officer replied, “Many are suspicious, and have no doubt they will eventually try.”

Today is Bat's Day in the park. This is the one day all the goth and emo kids get together in the park. Its the hottest day of the year and they choose to dress in black.

I have to give props to Noah Korda for pulling the event together. There was a time Disneyland would not let you in if your hair was an unnatural color or you wore ripped clothing or even a simple leather jacket. When I was a teen I, along with friends, were denied access to the park simply by the way we looked. Disney has come a long way. Thanks Noah for keeping Disney's collective robotic mind as open as it can be.

And thanks Disneyland for always allowing Butterhorns to roam free. I dont recall Disneyland ever turning a Butterhorn away because of the way THEY look.

I can't think of a more pathetic ride than this one. A long time ago Disney used to hire only the hottest girls to work on this ride. This used to be the ride where a sexy hot chick would tell you crap about little fairy tale houses. You wouldn't give a crap about what she was saying because she was so hot. In the 80's this is also where they put the obviously gay guys too. Go figure.
Its much different now. Look at that lil punk kid forced to ride this thing. He is way too old for it and is bound to get one of that chicks hooves in his head at least once during the ride. The storyteller chick is wearing pants Ernest Borgnine wouldn't wear and they seem to have run out of her size. Good job at making the women on this ride completely unappealng. Those pants look too tight for her gut and that "roid pillow shes on just seals the deal.

This next picture sums it all up. Disney now offers healthier snack item choices. I caught this one clearly looking for something with frosting or sprinkles only to find veggies fruit and something called "A Pickle"for $2.50. She looked so depressed as she hunted for snack. I think it will take a while for the healthy snacks to become embraced by Butterhorns. The healthy choices seem to have truly confused her as she could not understand why fruit would cost so much. There is no reason to pay that much for fruit... or anything in the park... she's been HAD! This is the moment just before she realized she is a rube.

This last picture in this set has a lot going on. I was trying to snap a picture of the little lime that was quickly escaping me and stumbled upon that damn photo guy. He was taking a picture of a family that was fathered by the guy in the goofy shirt and fanny pack. I was amazed by him. Almost hypnotized. How any woman could find that hot is beyond me. How could she accept THAT inside her? I mean look at him! Fanny pack, Goofyshirt stretched over his belly, and a bluetooth earpiece in the event of an emergency conference call... on a Sunday... at Disneyland.

This young man (who I have dubbed MONTE CRISTO) had friends right next to me "whooo hoo'ing" at him.
It was 80 degrees and about noon that April day 2006.
The picture with his arms down was the sole reason I created the Majestic Butterhorn. He looked so unhappy hot and sad. Come to think of it a lot of people at Disneyland look that way. His picture has made the rounds at Disney Studios with the caption "THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH"

This was just outside of the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror ride. The robotic one with the wheels came tooling up complaining how tough it was to meet her friend at that spot. I guess next time she'll spend the two dollars more and rent a jet-pack.

She was complaining that it was too much effort for her to wheel around on an electric litter! Oh I'm too exhausted from sitting and fiddling a button that makes my carted ass move.

Between Tomorrowland and Fantasylad there is a very boring area next to the Finding Nemo Lagoon.
Nothing happens here.
No rides, nothing to look at but a construction wall or a food court.
Its easy to spot butterhorns here. I have since dubbed this area "BUTTERHORN ALLEY."
This little droid must have been part of a convoy and got lost or something. It was cooling itself with a yummie chocolate covered ice cream bar while trying to motor back to its owner. It was odd to see a droid this far away from its owner. These wheeled Butterhorns usually have a child or bitter adult to help them. Usually the help is navigating the crowd or fetching food or holding their many bags of crap they NEED to bring to a friggin amusement park.

After a hot day in Tomorrowland its nice to cool off with a cherry coke from mainstreet. On the way to mainstreet we passed this poor overheated woman. She was lagging way behind her husband/friend. Gasping for air and caught up in this fishing net of camera and bag straps she was yelling to her friend to slow down because of the heat. She had also mentioned in passing there is a McDonalds by Splash Mountain.

This young man must have been 4'11" tall. He was waiting in line for space mountain with his grandfather. His grandfather looked at least ninety years old. He reminded me of Albert Fish "The Grey Man". Fish was a child murderer of epic proportions. So this little ham and his baby eating grandpop never got to ride space mountain. It broke down and the hour that they waited was in vain.

Disney has caught on!

The Walt Disney Co. will begin serving more nutritionally balanced meals at its domestic theme parks and will sign movie and other endorsement deals only with restaurants that limit fat and sugar in menu items, the company said Monday.

Trans fats will be eliminated from meals at domestic parks by the end of next year, and will not be included in licensed and promotional products by 2008, Disney said.
Disney Chief Executive Robert Iger said the move came in response to comments from parents about the eating habits of their children.
The company was "well aware of the huge responsibility we have, given our reach and our ability to impact people's behavior and opinions," Iger told The Associated Press from Singapore, where he was on business.
Given the increased attention to healthier eating, "it was the right thing to do," he said.
Disney said it would implement the new guidelines over the next several years as current contracts expire.

Iger said the company also sees a business opportunity in promoting and licensing healthier products, ranging from breakfast cereals to the children's meals it serves at its 11 worldwide theme parks.
The entertainment giant currently licenses characters to Indianapolis-based produce distributor Imagination Farms LLC to provide fruits and vegetables for the Disney Garden brand.
Other large consumer products companies also are pushing healthier eating.
McDonald's Corp. has been adding more salads and fruit to its menus, while Wendy's International Inc. recently said it would switch to cooking french fries and breaded chicken items with non-hydrogenated oil.
Last month, theFederal Communications announced plans to study links between the ads that appear on kids TV shows and the rise of childhood obesity.
A number of entertainment companies have come under fire for maintaining marketing deals with fast food chains and junk food makers.
Last year, Disney and McDonald's ended an exclusive 10-year deal to promote animated films using Happy Meals. The move coincided with a growing national interest in healthier eating for kids — although both companies said the decision had more to do with a desire to work with other promotional partners.
Disney said it worked with physicians to develop the new food guidelines that:
• Place a cap on total calories, which will result in smaller portions for children.
• Limit fat to a maximum of 30 percent of calories for entrees and side dishes, and 35 percent for snacks.
• Cap saturated fat at 10 percent of calories for main dishes, side dishes and snacks.
• Limit sugar to 10 percent of calories for main dishes and side dishes, and 25 percent of calories for snacks.
The company will keep licensing sweets for special occasions, such as birthday cakes and holiday candies, but will limit the number of "indulgence" items in its total food portfolio to 15 percent by 2010.
Starting this month, kid's meals at Disney's domestic parks are being served with low-fat milk, 100 percent fruit juice, or water, along with side dishes such as apple sauce or carrots in place of french fries and soft drinks.
Parents can still request soda or fries at no additional cost.

So ya see... Even Disney knows there is a problem with this "Big-Boned" Crowd.

This page is a look at the" happiest place on earth."
I'm tired of seeing photos of the park that don't show large people. People of size are rarely seen in commercials for the park. They are ignored just as the crying kids and and the yelling abusive parents that make up the parks daily guestlist. This is a reality. Large people are in the park and these are picures of them. If you want to make your own blog of selective images from the park that don't show larger guests than you are free to do so.

You cannot avoid the fact that many overweight people go to the magic kingdom. It’s a fact. These pictures are here to prove a point to a certain small group of friends. The blog is the best forum for this type of communication. I don’t “HATE” overweight people. I myself am overweight.

I am just pointing out a fact. If you have some sort of moral hang-up about these pictures then move on to another site and do not return. If you want to turn a blind eye to them than that is your choice.
